KITA is campaigning to reduce mixed waste

Emptying mixed waste costs twice as much as biowaste. Up to 70% of mixed waste could be recycled. By sorting correctly, you save both natural resources and money.

The waste chutes are meant for biowaste, cardboard, paper, plastic, and mixed waste. The waste room, on the other hand, is meant for glass, metal, bulky mixed waste (not furniture), and oversized cardboard.
