Electrical waste, scrap metal and large mixed waste items are collected at two collection points.

During autumn 2024 KITA Recycling Day in Pasila will be held on:

• Saturday 14.9.2024 from 10pm to 4pm

This waste collection campaign is only for residents using the Kita waste collection system. Please show your KITA key at the collection point.

The collection points are located on the map:

Collection point Firdonkatu is at the end of the street on a sand court
Collection point Fredikanterassi is in the yard area of the property, upper deck

WHAT YOU CAN BRING:

LARGE MIXED WASTE:
carpets, mattresses, buckets, folders, small furniture etc.

ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC WASTE:
television, home appliance, mobile phone, computer, small appliances, power tools, batteries and lamps, etc.

SCRAP METAL:
bicycle, prams, grills, pots, tools, metal containers, metal furniture, etc.

DO NOT BRING:

HAZARDOUS WASTE:
• paints, solvents, liquid batteries
→ HSY hazardous waste container (eg. Tyynenmerenkatu 11)
• waste containing asbestos

• pressure treated timber
→ HSY Sortti station
• medicines, syringes
